Well I have only talked about it forever???Blogging or creating a website to keep up with the comings and goings of our family. I have always wanted to because of living away from so many family and friends and life just keeps getting busier for us to keep in contact the good old fashioned way. What has been keeping me from doing it for so long? Honestly...fear of who really wants to read it and also the fact that I spend WAY too much time reading other people's blogs than take the time to create one for our family :) kinda embarrassing huh!
Life in our house is a balancing act...but such a blessing and a joy. Despite times of trial we are so blessed and thank God daily for our two healthy little girls and wonderful family and friends.I am hoping to just spend the time here updating ya'll on the girls, the comings and goings of our family and of course some pictures. The girls do so many funny things everyday and with family being so far away I often times forget by the time I talk to them. This will keep our family connected with the rest of the family at least between phone calls and visits. And maybe even keep my email updates shorter...so you only read if you want to HA!
I want to share something I found this morning in my devotional...with all that is going on in the economy, the election fast approaching and just life in general for so many of us this brought so much comfort and a gentle reminder that I needed.
Let's Pray Father, my heart is filled with fear. It seems like I am drowning in the uncertainties of my life. Lord, help me to surrender my fears to You. Strengthen me to face each one and walk through it, knowing that You are with me. I choose to trust You and doubt my fears. I choose against stress and choose for peace. I choose You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
