What a surprise it was to be at lunch with the girls and some friends on Friday and feel my water break...that's when I forever knew our world was about to change. And no even though at the time we had no clue our first son was about to join our household and change our lives forever but the reality of actually having our third child set in. It was pure excitement in our house from that moment on...friends started arriving in droves to help with the girls, they felt mighty special.
Carter Joseph was born at 9:02pm on Friday, May 8th and weighed 7 pounds 6 oz and was long at 21 inches. He is all legs and arms like his daddy. I had pictures of the girls at birth with me at the hospital and he looks so much like both of them but a little more like Brooklyn in the face. The girls were able to come meet him on Saturday afternoon and it was priceless to see their reaction and love for their brother already!
