The kids already saw Santa...it actually happened back mid November. We have this great old fashioned toy store here and Santa comes every year in December for a couple of weekends but this year he had to "travel" to do business at the North Pole in December so he had to make the pit stop in November. I watched my three kids and couldn't wipe the silly smile off my face the whole time. It was the first year that Brooklyn was not scared of Santa and we managed a tear free picture and she talked to him.
The morning we went to go see Santa each girl took a list and wrote out their wishes to take on the visit. When they were all done writing and we had moved on, or so I thought I was sitting their feeding Carter and I see Brooklyn heading for her kiddie scissors. Next thing I know she is cutting up her list, "to make a puzzle mommy!" Well of course to make a puzzle, who doesn't do that. So ALL of the puzzle pieces go into a baggie to take to Santa. Kennedy of course looks at her sister like she is C.R.A.Z.Y!
So Brooklyn walks up to Santa with her puzzle and what does Santa do? He gets out of his chair and sits right down on the floor and spends what feels like forever putting together Brooklyn's puzzle to find out what she wants for Christmas. The sweetest most patient thing I have ever seen. Kennedy was excited to show Santa her writing and ask for her wishes.
And Carter was super cool with Santa...like he sees a jolly old man with a white beard every day. Talked to him like he does us, I think he just revels in any attention be it from Santa or the check out lady at the grocery store. But my favorite picture I have gotten with each child was when they were really little and just staring at Santa. Love it!

Super cute! I love the shirts for the kids. This time of year is so fun. My favorite picture of Kaylee and Santa was also from her first Christmas. I hope to get a good one of Alexa this year. :)
I love the shirts the kiddos are wearing! Too cute. Glad to hear that Christmas is in full swing at the Studdert house. We are getting our tree this weekend!
