10 Months Old

Carter turned 10 months right before we left for our trip so even though the pictures were taken it just didn't make an appearance until now! What a month for Carter. He has completely changed this past month and I know from here on out it will continue to be more evident each month. So even though the growth and leaps have sped up, one thing hasn't and that is that he is so sweet, laid back, content and such a mama's boy to the point where when I put him down sometimes he will not let go.

I feel like he is huge compared to how the little guy started out. So let's see where this month has taken Carter in changes and in pictures of course!

Carter started the month off by scootching on his belly to get something, mid month he switched to scootching on his bum, and by month's end he officially started crawling although was still a little hesitant not yet realizing the full affect of where crawling can take you in the world!

He went from laying down to sitting up in his crib to a week later figuring out how to stand in his crib. It's a good thing daddy went in there quickly when he woke up that day because we hadn't put the crib down all the way yet...it was quite dramatic (for Tim not Carter).

He loves loves opening and closing all the cupboards that he can pry open.

Pulls himself up on our train table and anyone that will sit still long enough to be used as a prop for him to stand up. And a favorite is standing up on the toilet and yes, pulling all of the toilet paper off the roll.

Carter had his 1st Valentines Day, trip to feed the ducks (that was memorable & funny), "rode" the lawnmowers at Lowe's...that's always been a highlight for each of our children, we aim high in the lawnmower department.

Carter is really starting to "talk" and express himself. It's so cute. His hand goes out and his "ha" comes out when he sees someone or wants to get their attention.

He loves to bounce and goes crazy when he hears music and has managed to get his hands to a clap a few times, not even sure he knew what he had accomplished though.

And here are some of Carter's favorites throughout the day and how he likes to spend his time playing...
