Carter turned 5 Months

So our little man turned 5 mos. old on Thursday. WOW, doesn't 5 months seem so much bigger. It doesn't sound like the little newborn anymore and he isn't. He is still small but has grown a ton. He is definitely busier now and has found a lot of new loves. Here are a few:

He loves paper, grabs it, eats, it, drools on it, crumples it, you name it. I think I know what to get him for Christmas. And he loves to pull hair!

He loves songs, Pat a Cake is a big hit! Loves watching bubbles and sitting at the table in his bumbo in the midst of all the action.

My favorite love this past month was him finally sleeping through the night. It had gotten to be such a bad habit that he started waking up four times a night. It's a little difficult to function when you are getting up that many times. He still rolls over a lot in his crib but I have found him asleep on his back a few times now.

He lights up when Tim walks into the house from his day. And loves seeing other babies out and about now. He is enjoying his view from sitting up when he can hold it long enough. The exersaucer is a new hit and even his sister (B) has tried it out a time or two.

He definitely is more into toys and what they do and not just looking at them but seeing how they work and banging on them with whatever can reach. He grabs whatever is in his path now that's for sure.

Carter is still a very happy baby and when we are out and about it very flexible which is the way of life as the third. Some of my favorite parts of the day happen to be when I am busily trying to get something done and he catches my eye and his whole face just lights up in a smile. It makes everything else seem not as important!
