Pumpkin Patch

Tim looks at me as we were walking into the pumpkin patch this year and says, "WOW we have three kids this time." He said, "each year I feel like we have one more :)." I can remember going there our first October when we moved here and Kennedy was only 10 mos. old. That feels like F.O.R.E.V.E.R. ago. And now I look around and see the young parents with just one and I feel old :) but a little more wiser too, just a little though!

But seriously we had such a great time. It was the most perfect weather, we couldn't have asked for better. We call the perfect days, AZ days...blue blue sky, cool and NO mosquitoes.

Carter loved his first time at the patch. I think he just likes being outside looking at everyone and everything. And Brooklyn did her fair share of trying to pick up pumpkins and really got into climbing this year and Kennedy, well Kennedy looks at me when we got to the first pile and says, "mom, why do we climb on the pumpkins anyways?" Ahhh she is so growing up. I of course said because it's fun and everyone's doing it so get your butt on a pumpkin pile so I can get some pictures, no I really didn't say that but I quickly did a mental check back to the small little baby we brought to the pumpkin patch and dabbed my eyes for a second and then made sure Carter wasn't eating grass and Brooklyn was still in sight. I really need to go back and look at some of the pictures from past years and show the kids. Oh to have all my pictures in one place, that's my dream.

Anyways, we walked away with some pretty pumpkins, happy kids and I got some great pictures that make me smile (all except for the ones where people's rear ends were in the background of my kids, not so cute...the one bad part of the pumpkin patch).
