This household has been fighting with sickness for the past four weeks and we are ready to be WELL!
It's hard to believe I am so behind on all the fun activities and festivities that December held but with trying to enjoy them all and get the kids ready just to get to the places, the blog and pictures kind of took a backseat. We had a fun filled December with my mom and my brother coming out for Christmas and enjoying the time Kennedy had off from school just playing and hanging out! That is what I love the most, the time at home with the kids. I would love to keep up with the blog better but I refuse to let it take time away from my day or time with them so we will just be playing catch up, isn't that what January is all about anyways?
I am so excited that my prayer group (going on FOUR years!!!) is starting this new experiment for 2010. The majority of us have three little ones and are finding the time home with them so rewarding YET exhausting. So this experiment is called the Joy Experiment and finding the JOY and happiness in all we do. Being the wife, mother, daughter, friend, sister you name it that God called me to be and serving and blessing others.
My friend Shawna who found this experiment and is sharing it with us passed on this quote the other day that really hit me:
“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” Tagore
So here's to a healthy, JOYFUL, simple, blessed and memory filled 2010!
