Happens to live in my own house! Actually I have three favorite artists and they all live here...but Sunday we celebrated with an actual art show/gallery of Kennedy's summer art class. I am totally biased (as I should be) but her painting ROCKED! I was especially proud of her not just because of the outcome which honestly is the easy part of being proud but the deeper part, like her trying something new out of her comfort zone and improving and learning week after week; making mistakes and learning that as an artist you make mistakes and how to fix them; learning that mistakes are only in the eyes of the artist, that art is art and it is what you make it.
