So we were driving to drop Kennedy off at school this morning talking about what was happening today and Brooklyn pipes up from the backseat....
B: Did you mail Aubrey's letter yet?
M: No, not yet B, but I will...
B: (with a sigh knowing that with a not yet, who knows when sadly) says Mom, that's your ONLY goal for the day - mail that letter.
M: laughing, I said, oh now you are giving me goals for the day??
B: Yep!
M: I love you B!
The girls are pen pals with their cousin Aubrey...and it takes us a little longer to write back and then a little longer for me to actually get it in the mail. Good intentions just gets pushed in the other piles or at the bottom of my purse. But Aubrey you will be thrilled to know it was my goal of the day! And it's a throw back to me from the goals they have been given a time or two :-). I am thankful today for goals and for kids constantly teaching me too!
Oh, and I am thankful I got one pumpkin picture uploaded on the blog - gratitude in the simple things
