October i-LOVE

You can really tell a lot about a person by looking at all their cell phone pictures nowadays! I don't do it often enough but love love looking back at my pictures from the month and wanted to put them down because they just make me smile!

It's tiring being the 3rd child some days!

Fun Fall craft with Kyle when he came to spend the day with us

Grabbed this little miss out of school early before a dr. appt and we grabbed Subway. So fun spending extra time with her during the day! And we realized that this was the same seat we sat in back when she was TWO and I was prego with Carter and she fell over backwards in her chair - she remembers everything!

We were getting out of the car to head into the orthodontist and see our babysitter and her mom walking to their car. She goes to UT so she isn't home on weekends a ton so as soon as Brooklyn realized it was her she SCREAMED and ran as quick as she could to give her a hug!

Is it really already orthodontist time with this one?!?!?!?!?!
Yes, because of five words - SHE HAS HER MAMA'S MOUTH
But she got to spin the birthday wheel since her birthday had just passed and ended up with a gift card!

Saturday morning bike ride for her and jog for me - love these times!

Followed up with a daddy who brought home donuts - it kinda crossed out that run :-)

A gorgeous Sunday evening spent at the golf course - she has got a swing!

Him, I just make sure I am out of his way. He more or less thinks golf and baseball have the same swing!!!

KK was at a church group so it was just the four of us - usually she likes to drive a cart.

Coolest daddy ever when he suggested ice cream for dinner - where else but Baskin Robbins?

He still loves banana splits - he always tells us the sweet story of once a month his mom used to take him to get a banana split for dinner and he loved those nights - here he is passing on the tradition.

One of our first cool Fall mornings! Long sleeves, crisp air and the coffee tastes so much better!

Found his costume! Happiest boy in Target by far

He found this indy car on the cereal box at the store and wanted it - I said no because we already had some at home. He said but mom I just want the car...so we took a picture that would last forever. Win win!

Full action hero saved the day a lot this month - so much so I was worried I may need to buy another costume.

This sweet girl is the first to offer to help with dinner - she is getting pretty good

Shawna (back right) had her birthday this month - she went back to teaching 3rd grade this year and her birthday fell on a school day. So because we couldn't celebrate with her like normal, we took fun, cute boxed lunches, balloons and presents to her room and surprised her! It was a perfect way to celebrate and catch up!

One of our many days at P/T with Kennedy. These two are such troopers and so patient while waiting for her appointment!

The store of the month - Rainbow Looms

The morning I was leaving for S.F wanted to snap a quick picture with my girls before school - love!

Halloween Donuts - sprinkles make everything better

Two of my favorite things - my mom and coffee! She was back in town to take care of kids while we headed out of town for the week - so thankful for her!

Hello San Francisco

First night dinner and drinks - gorgeous view and loved our time together.
Unfortunately all of my pics from this trip are on my phone - #cameraproblems but fortunately
at least we have some pictures. Another post on this trip to share all of the pics.

Mommy's back on duty - carpool time again and not in a cable car!

Saying goodbye to Nonie with lots of hugs and already counting the days until she comes back!

Car and his buddy Zach thought they were so funny to squirt the water guns at me on the other side of the window.
I could have watched them laughing forever - love this age!

Rice Krispy time - but for October they are made orange and into pumpkins. Never got a picture of them but they turned out great and such a fun easy Halloween/fall treat. Perfect for our Pumpkin Painting Party!

Over at the Lambert's for the annual pumpkin painting fun - the kids and moms have a blast

Carter & Christopher

Brooklyn & Sophia

Annual Car Show at the barbershop - beautiful day looking at old cars with the family (& Piper)
bbq, bounce houses, prizes, sno cones = happy kids

Tim's car took 1st place

K had her 1st of 3 Halloween Parties that night and debuted her football player costume. Although she was a bit irritated because everyone kept calling her a cheerleader ;-). I told her she looked cute no matter what!

He makes me laugh...we were sitting on our outside couch just hanging out with the fam and next thing I know he is putting his head into my scarf so we could be closer than we were - such a mama's boy and the baby at that!

Pumpkin Patch Hay Ride - another gorgeous day! We had so much rain this month, like crazy rain but the days that we had something or outside plans turned out beautiful!

This never gets old - Mr. Potato Head pumpkin time.

1st Day back to soccer practice - Happy girl, beautiful smile, and excited, proud and nervous mom!!

1st annual Fall Scarf Exchange at Starbucks. Such a fun, simple and fall night with the girls. What more could a girl ask ask for in the fall but a pumpkin latte and a new scarf!

I got home from getting Carter at school and discovered I had driven home like this...it had been one of those weeks but one that my friends and I had laughed and needed stuff like this!

And we got Bob one weekend - Bob the Bear is the traveling class Bear that goes home and spends  a weekend with each family and goes on adventures. And then the mommy's document, journal and take/print pictures so he had a book on all of his adventures for the class. We all took a liking to Bob for sure!

This sweet boy HATES scary Halloween stuff and Party City is the worst. Well I had to go in for one thing when he was with me so I took matters into my own hands...see that freaky guy behind me? Carter was scared of it so I just took one look and punched it and he fell backwards and Carter thought it was the funniest thing and kept doing it. So he turned into this laughing brave boy and I really think he knows it's fake and now funny thanks to our TKO's!

We had two extra girls for lunch after the soccer game last weekend and two separate cars so we pulled into Chik Fil A for a quick lunch and these girls heard What Does a Fox Say on Tim's radio and busted out their moves right there! Love these girls.
If you haven't heard of this google You Tube What Does a Fox Say and you will be in the know

1st game back playing! Was so happy for her and her smile was brighter than ever and I couldn't wait to hug her after. She rocked it and played so tough!!! So so thankful for this day and her health and ability to get back to something she loves!
I didn't get the memo but somehow it was nerd night at our house for dinner one night...they kept showing up. I guess nerds like Spaghetti! They had us in stitches...

After school he begged for hot chocolate with marshmallows. How could I refuse and so he had that and I got a nice cup of coffee for midday snack!

Don't think everybody gets a Cowboys football player who wipes down the chairs after dinner - PRICELESS

The world was a safer place this day!

From the Stadium - Happy Halloween!
