The weekend before K went back to school we packed in some family fun. The first stop was the bowling alley...B's first trip there and Kennedy's fourth or so. She definitely has the competitive spirit in her and I think it comes from both her mommy and her daddy. So this is how competitive we are. The employee asks how many people are bowling, I say 3 and at the same time Tim says 4. I said, 4 I am not bowling, I am eight months pregnant and huge. My husband looked at me and said, you are bowling. I didn't figure it out until half way through but the reason he was so determined is that this trip to the bowling alley would turn out to be the one and only time in our years together that he would ACTUALLY beat me. It was close but yes, he did beat me, but I had my own bowling ball that was in my belly as an excuse.

Life-Spring Break Week
What a blast Spring Break was. I cherished the time I had with both girls home and Brooklyn loved having her big sister home with her. I truly tell ya I thank God for the way the girls love each other and feel so blessed! Brooklyn had a hard time (and mommy did too) with Kennedy heading back to school, but we have some GREAT memories from our week. Most of the week we had beautiful, sunny and warm weather so this is where we spent our time...

Thanks to Papaw & Judy for this Christmas present. It was delivered Spring Break week and what a perfect time. The hours spent on it so far have been long and definitely a priority in this house now.

I just have to say, thank God for my husband helping her so his rear was in this picture and not my pregnant one...his looks a lot cuter right now :)
And we fit in one more fun and exciting day right before school started again...this post will have way too many pictures to combine with this one. Will save it for tomorrow. But the coolest thing about this trip is that the various times we have visited at least one of the girls have been not so happy with the dirty part of it, the sand, and either cried the whole time or stayed on the blanket. This time was so different. We couldn't pull them out of the water. And we had another gorgeous and perfect day to spend here as a family. With all of this you would think we were trying to fit a whole bunch of random and spontaneous activities in before our life was about to change with a new baby...naaa :) well perhaps!!!

Looks like you have had a fun week! Too bad the new playset wasn't set up when we were there. Owen would have loved it! Miss you guys!
