YEE-HAW!!!

Yes, that's right...it's Rodeo time here in TX. Today was a nasty, yucky, rainy and cold day but we didn't let it stop us from going to the Rodeo. The girls had a blast and were at such great ages to take it all in. They loved the competitions before the concert and were in awe of what those cowboys and cowgirls could do. In fact on the way home Kennedy informed us that she wanted to be a cowgirl!






And Brooklyn after learning about cows all week was ecstatic to see them in person...her favorite was seeing a calf which she learned about this week too. She just kept screaming calf, calf, calf. And when we were watching the competition she just kept saying that she wanted to ride the horses too, with the cowboys. And there you have it folks, my girls are true Texas girls all the way. There is no stopping from here on out. Some fun pictures from our day to share.

And by far the highlight of the afternoon was watching the 4-6 year olds "ride sheep." Yep, you heard it right, like the cowboys ride the bulls, these little things were hanging onto these sheep for dear life out of the gates with helmets and everything. I don't think we all have laughed that hard in a long time...and it's what I always say, "only in TX!"
