36 Weeks and Counting

Well we are in the home stretch. Not sure if it is more exciting or scary...today I feel it is more exciting. I have to say not finding out the gender of this baby has been SO FUN. I wasn't sure if towards the end I would regret it and have a break down and run begging to my dr. but total self control. It has added much anticipation and guessing from all of our friends and family. I start going to the dr. every week this week and hopefully those few pounds you can lose towards the end of pregnancy will start dissapearing on that wonderful scale.

Here are some things we have been up to this week, counting down to baby!

The first fun thing we did was make a game called "Guess What?" We took 5 different questions and wrote them on a posterboard and each one of us had to guess the answer (good old science hypothesis).

Eye color: blue or brown
Hair: hair or bald
Weight: 7lbs or 8 lbs
Gender: boy or girl
Time of Day: day or night

It was so funny to do with the girls and we can't wait to compare the outcome to our game. Now Tim thought he would be extra funny and add an extra pound to the weight guesses...I told him he wasn't very funny at all and better pray that isn't a choice in the end!

Some family and friends have been bugging I mean asking for belly pictures. Now I am not much of a belly picture kind of girl...never was with the other two pregnancies. Tim took some two weeks ago but they didn't turn out so good (he got more of the wall than the belly :)) but Kennedy took some a couple of days ago and she did a pretty great job. So here they are:

Sibling Preparation:

We asked Brooklyn the other day what she wanted to name the baby??
"Toot & Puddle mommy." "Well my name is Toot mommy, so just Puddle!"

And Kennedy has been into writing notes to all of us for awhile but lately she started writing notes to the baby too. Here is one of her latest:

Dear Baby
I love you.
U are cool.
U are so sweet.
U are so Speshl.
Love KK

So sweet! I think I better stop abbreviating the "you" on her notes I write to her and send in her lunch, what do you think???
