When Nonie Is Here...

Mommy doesn't have to think so HARD! Not to mention the girls have a FABULOUS time!

We had such a great time...it went way too fast. We found time to fit in a lot. It was her first trip here when Kennedy was in school the whole week, everyday so that was different. We spent some time painting pottery. The girls did their own art work and then my mom and I did Easter plates (I will post a picture when we pick them up this week). We took the girls footprints and turned them into bunnies. We were able to go back one evening and finish the painting without trying to divide our attention with girls needing new colors every second, the little one painting her ENTIRE arm with paint and stuff knocking over everywhere. But the neat thing was instead of trying to do our own painting we were able to be present with the girls (something I pray for daily) and be in the moment laughing at all the paint everywhere and each and every funny detail of the day.

Nonie was able to see K play soccer (she scored 4 goals and did awesome that day). She saw Brooklyn's swim lesson where she did her best swimming yet! She had a date morning with Kennedy (reading books at Starbucks and finding some fun dress up jewelry) while I took B to the doctor. We had a princess dinner where the girls dressed up, had pink sparkly milk (pink sprinkles) and princess crown cut out sandwiches. Seeing the play Sleeping Beauty from a performing arts studio here where most of the performers were between the ages of 6 and 12. And of course she was such a huge help when it came to washing all the baby clothes to be ready for either sex. We cleaned out closets, tried on summer clothes for the girls, and put away all winter clothes. All the things you need and want to get done before another baby. Thanks mom for just knowing how to help and loving the girls the way you do. We miss you lots!
