Our Halloween
It is amazing the difference a year makes. Last year we had a little hotdog and this year we had a "ferocious" lion. Last year it was survival and well this year it still feels like survival sometimes but I thought we can do survival and dress up as a family too! Tim went with it, it probably helped I brought out the costume a few nights before, but needless to say he's a good sport. I think the fact that he was on call on Halloween worked in my favor...guilt and adult scarecrow costumes go well together! We had a GREAT time. Our neighborhood was much more happenin this year. Last year we headed out and had fun but came home and thought oh my gosh where did we move, the most boring neighborhood in the world. Well this year it pulled through. We met up with more and more friends along the way, some of Brooklyn's and some of Kennedy's and had a great time hanging out and catching up and shoving a tootsie roll in our mouth when we weren't talking or checking out to see which candy Carter quickly grabbed and shoveled in his mouth before anyone noticed. He is FAST! It was nice that it was a bit cooler and the fact that Carter wore his costume, head piece and all the whole night blew me away. Trick-or-Treat!!

Brooklyn and Patrick...his very 1st Halloween! Cutest little puppy dog!

Kennedy & Carter with Mrs. Johanssen. The kids, all three adore her. A neighbor's mom who my kids run to at soccer games, neighborhood functions and any other time they see her. I think she has a special place on her lap for each of my kids!
