When I look back on our day there are little snippets of things I love, things I don't want to forget, the simple things. And if I am lucky enough to stop, I can catch those moments and take them all in for everything they are worth. Those are the things I am THANKFUL for!
So simple loves:
Seeing Carter's eyes light up and face glow at the new and wonderful sights and sounds of all things Christmas that are showing up quickly at every store!
The silly way Brooklyn screams as we are sitting in a Target parking lot throwing our leftover popcorn to the birds and seeing Carter belly laugh at the birds as they swoop down towards the popcorn and at his silly sister Brooklyn who is giving her own sound clip to this funny moment. All the while I am laughing loving that this is a fun activity to them and at the fact that everyone who drives by gives me the crazy look as I am lighting up from ear to ear watching my kids enjoy the simple moment of feeding birds (in a parking lot)
Seeing that Carter goes directly to Kennedy as I let him out of his carseat from picking her up from school and as he gets closer he starts with the smack noises so he can kiss her because he missed his big buddy!
Watching the girls pull into big sister mode as the lady at the doctor's office can't find out appointments...they take opposite walls with Carter in the middle in his stroller and take turns sliding down the half walls and making ker plop noises that make him yet again belly laugh for the whole waiting room to hear. And I don't even tell them to shhhhhh or stop because I am thinking that what person in their right mind wouldn't smile at that precious baby laugh and make anyone's day! Or the mere fact that these sisters are doing whatever they can to help their mommy out and make their brother happy!

Flying through the sprinklers....doesn't get much better than that!
Dressing up for an inside rain storm dance rodeo western show!
Doesn't everyone have one of those??
I left Kennedy playing on the computer with Brooklyn watching her while I went to change Carter's diaper and came back in to find this....Kennedy patiently teaching her to play and moving the mouse with her. It doesn't happen all the time like this, but this was definitely one of those simple thankful moments.
Afternoon snack picnics
This next one I took when Brooklyn was drying off after playing in the sprinklers, not planned since I left a car full of groceries to take some pictures of watching my younger two run through the sprinklers mid day. I either have ADD or just try to capture the spontaneous moments when they happen!
To the simple things, today to be thankful of what matters most.
