We heard more "oh's," saw more finger pointing, watched hands covering ears, the word LOUD accompanying that, the brownest eyes transfixed, and the brightetst smiles from one excited little boy when we got to visit the Train Park in AZ. We were so glad to be able to meet up with my dad & Judy for a ride on the train, playground time, carousel riding and a picnic lunch from one of our favorite places there, Paradise Bakery! What a beautiful day it was, the sky blue blue and the temp just perfect in the shade. I have always meant to take the kids here to visit but this time we made it! Love this one of my dad & Carter. These two are quick buddies no matter where we are but this was by far the sweetest moment! Carter would hear the train "depart" the station and he would look and then run and each time my dad would take him and sit there and watch it go by.
And this silly one was because Mr. C was getting over his cold and decided he would give poppy a taste of his life lately with lots of nose wiping. That's what is so special about grandpas!
I love watching my dad take pictures. He has a great eye and some great lenses!! I especially like when he sends me the pictures and I can really look at them and see how he captured that moment just perfectly. Pictures below captured by Poppy!
Thanks Dad & Judy for a fun and memorable afternoon, the best kind in AZ!
