The Greats

Two great grandmas and three great grandkids all at one lunch! These are the memories I am so grateful to have and memories I hope and pray with the help of pictures my kids remember and talk about to their kids. I still remember the sleepovers, hummingbird feeders and the peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches my Nana introduced us too; the jello, model airplanes and white covered pretzels that were always present at Mimi's! I love watching my grandmas with my kids and the funny conversations and exchanges.

The kids enjoyed lunch but quickly realized with the beautiful day outside they weren't going to have any of this sitting inside talking bit and with a willing Nonie grabbed hold of her hand and found the putting green. Kids after their daddy's heart. It quickly turned into not only a putting green but a "gymnastics mat" but we didn't catch any on film too busy making sure Carter didn't fall into the water fountain although I don't think he would have cared but the older tenants at the assisted living place probably would have had a heart attack!
