So the season started back in September and soccer princess is getting ready to have her final practice and game of the season BUT these are too cute not to post. This would make KK's 5th year playing a game she has grown to love and man can she run! She can move on that soccer field! I love setting up our chairs, grabbing snacks for the other two and just being on the sidelines cheering her on. At almost 9 years old she still looks over to make sure we are paying attention and for our cheers, thumbs up and way to go's! I love watching her work hard...and seeing her analyze now the games she just didn't have her head in and thinking about it and then the games that she just shines and her confidence builds and she tries harder and doesn't stop. These past two games have been the latter and she has done awesome! She is now at the place where they have referees, call penalties and have goalies...the field is bigger and the time is longer and these girls don't stop!
And I think I am her biggest fan??? This girl has me beat by a mile!
Be sure to look for #14 on the soccer field in the spring. She is bound and determined to lace up some cleats of her own and take off running in her sisters footsteps...
even putting dance and gymnastics on hold.
And Car just follows and does whatever they do...some of my favorite moments come when I hear Kennedy outside teaching Carter about kicking the soccer ball and making a goal...
she is his biggest cheerleader!
KK got "dudette" of the week last week because of her awesome game with FOUR goals! The dudette of the week gets to wear a silly hat during the whole practice and gets a mini trophy. She wanted this all season long and so the smiles were endless on this particular Wed. night!
