Typical Day - in the Garden

I mentioned earlier that during our spring break visit from the fam, both K & B picked out a special date to go on with Nonie. Brooklyn picked a trip to the nursery to pick out flowers and then to come home and plant them (you would have thought I would have paid her to pick this but no she just came up with it). You bet I was thanking my lucky stars because anytime green goddess Nonie comes into town she is bombarded with this girl's NO green thumb questions and begging her to take my money to Lowe's and come home with beautiful flowers that will just grow and grow and grow greener - as LONG as I remember to water them!
Brooklyn insisted I come to the nursery with them...she was very persistent that it was the three of us. I loved that I got to grab my camera and not have to work for flowers. I loved watching how serious my mom is and how much she knows. She is patient too because I know I ask the same questions over and over again! We had a fun morning and walking away with some pretty color for our yard. A much needed makeover from the dreary winter. Welcome spring!

We brought all the goods home and got straight to work...but this included everyone! We added a new member to our family for the afternoon as you can see below.
