The funny thing is she is usually one step ahead of me with him and most times I don't even have to ask - love her! She gets him up if she hears him talking as she passes his room in the morning. Puts his flip flops on and helps him with all of the one million and one things that he asks for each day. It's going to be a sad day for Carter (and me) when this one goes back to school in a couple of weeks.
KK you amaze me the way you care and love for your brother. I am so proud of your heart and love you show to others. I am so glad he is learning how to treat others by your example...what a blessed little boy he is.
This was one afternoon after his nap. I said, "I'm going to go get Car." She yelled I'll get him and dashed up the stairs in front of me. They didn't come right down so I figured she was building him a new Geo Trax or something cool she always does but when I went upstairs I found this...
I started laughing and she said, mom I went to get him up and he said, "No KK get in my bed and play hide with me." This is why I always say if I were to have an older sister I would want you KK!
And yes my huge 3 year old is still in his crib. Getting him a bed is on the list. He slept in his first twin on vacation and LOVED it. He was pretty bummed when he came home to find no big boy bed in his room. My kids have always loved their cribs. They don't climb out and they have all stayed in their cribs until almost 3 1/2 years old. And we were the family that when Carter was born we bought another crib so Brooklyn could stay in hers...yes we are crazy like that. Why fix something that's not broken...and even though it's not broken it's time. Big boy bed here we come!
