The Surprise Surprise - {Party Time} Part 3

Oregano's was the location, party room the happening place for Saturday night, April 27, 2013 - just right for our group. And food hands down no comments necessary! Waiting at Oregano's was a big group of her closest friends. My mom is a friend to all, something I admire about her so much. She is warm and kind and I always knew that but one of her gifts from me was 60 mini envelopes that she was to open over the next 60 days that came pouring in from family and friends of words that described her. I asked for a word that came to people's minds when they thought of her - just one - well I lost count of the emails where people couldn't just come up with one. She was surprised for sure, and I knew it because she said a curse word she was so shocked :-). The thing is this is the woman who is always doing and putting on surprises for all of us. I had a surprise 16th, she threw one for my dad's 40th and was always doing something special to celebrate everyone else. I was so blessed to be able to do something for her. I loved finding all the pictures and putting them all together for this night. And that thought kept racing through my mind...that in all of this I was being blessed by being able to share and celebrate who she is and this journey that God has her on. 

{THE SURPRISE}

What a night to celebrate, friends, food, fun, family, the kids and we all had the best time. Didn't want the night to end. My Aunt Betsy had been my personal errand shopper for things I couldn't bring in my suitcase. She was the storage to the decor. She and cousin Jean stepped up to the plate helping me in my quick escape from my mom's on a Friday afternoon to hurry and throw the pictures on the board and put candles together and everything else. They both went down and set up the entire table and room with our touches because I couldn't go without my mom knowing something. They did an amazing job and I am so thankful for their help and everything they did to make it come together. No one wanted the night to end, especially my mom.
