Fun With Zippidy

Zippidy has been finding some pretty sneaky places to hide! I had already mentioned here Kennedy had to write him/Santa a letter because of Carter getting ahold of him, BUT the other night we had another Zippidy issue. Zippidy was in the same place for a SECOND night in a row. Kennedy analyzed and analyzed like a true woman. B thought about it for a minute, came to her own conclusion which in her mind was the only one and right one of course and moved on and I just thought darn Zippidy you are slipping, why can't you remember simply to find a new hiding spot each night. Well, Kennedy being the sensible and mature little lady she is and blossoming writer took it upon herself to write Zippidy a letter to get to the bottom of what happened.

It was very simple you see...Zippidy went back to report to Santa last night and there was a MAJOR problem with one of the toy belts, but not just any toy belt the Barbie toy belt. He knew Santa needed help and always being one to help, he stuck it out and helped fix that belt and get those Barbies unstuck and moving along that assembly line correctly. He especially knew how important Barbies are to two little girls he is visiting this month and it made him even more determined to be Santa's helper. Well it took so long and he got back to our house in the early hours of the morning and as he slipped through the door he heard footsteps on the stairs and jumped back into the closest place he could, WHICH just so happened to be the same place he was the night before.

So the girls after getting his letter and finding him in a new hididng spot went on to analyze what a hero Zippidy was and wondered which Barbies he was fixing. What a guy!

I know Zippidy has a lot on his mind and all with watching the Studdert kids and reporting back and just the busyness of this month with Christmas especially as an elf, but come on he has got to be more responsible with hiding himself at a decent time! None of this late night hiding or "waking" us up in the middle of the night while he tries to find his new hiding spot. I thought I was done with night wakings when Carter finally started sleeping through the night. And I wonder why I am so exhausted this month!

I was totally laughing with this one! That has been me many times waking up in the middle of the night having to help Charlie find a new hiding spot. So far no two days in a row just a few close calls at 5am moves! :)
