It is officially 12:33am here...welcome 2011...so long 2010! We sat around the table tonight and talked about what the big milestones were of 2010:
Carter started walking! which quickly led to running, galloping, falling, chipping teeth and now he can officially get air with both feet when he jumps.
Carter talks and talks he does anytime he can get a word in with all these girls! His latest and greatest are MINE, crash, and CJ!
KK started 2nd grade, did an acting/drama camp and has a strong love for anything to do with reading and writing!
KK broke her hand and had the first cast of the family.
Brooklyn started school..preschool two days a week.
Brooklyn had her 1st and successful eye surgery
We went to AZ once and only once...we vowed to change that this next year!
Tim and I went away for a week to celebrate our anniversary!
Tim built his first boat, the San Brooklyn and it is officially running and we are awaiting the Christening mid January.
I turned 33, ran my first half marathon and colored my hair brown after 14 years as a blonde and found my first gray hairs...ahhh!
We took TX trips to Dallas and Austin which made for great family weekends on the road and hanging out together! Those are the best.
And both girls smiled HUGE smiles when they took out their resolutions from our envelops that had been tucked away in the back on one of my drawers. They had accomplished both of theirs gracefully and were very proud. KK stopped sucking her fingers at night way back in January, right at the new year. And Brooklyn stopped sucking her binky.
Tomorrow we will take out new cards and write down some new resolutions and ideas we have for our family year in 2011.
I was laughing as I compared our fun family celebration tonight to those back in the college days. They really aren't all THAT different, take a look...
We go to the salon to have our hair done for the big night!
We take self timed portraits before the party
Of course there is always a crazy girl who jumps in front of the camera before it takes!
We let the "friends" pick our outfits for the night. Their eyes are always different than ours and I love it!
We invited friends...but they had to dress for the occasion first!
