The other not so much...asked shortly after they started in a more accusatory tone, "are they NOT going to talk in this whole thing or what?" And then when I asked shortly after intermission if she was liking any of it she simply replied, "I would rather watch a blank picture frame, BUT thanks for bringing us mom!"
I will let you guess who was who :)
Love the politeness and the oldest ones honesty. After that comment we couldn't stop giggling and I think bothered the people around us, but I didn't care. I was in awe of the simple and honest moment and the amazing difference between my two beautiful daughters that God has blessed us with. I love them and all their differences (most of the time).
We had a fun afternoon...not sure this will become of long standing tradition. I may just have to take one to The Nutcracker and the other to a play WITH words and singing. That's ok, more fun to have. We were able to go with one of my closest friends here and her daughter, Brooklyn's little bestie! Definitely a fun girl's afternoon out with some dressing up!
And while we were gone Carter and Tim hung and did what they do best...played outside, ran and played cars...an absolute favorite right now for daddy and Car!
