Summer Spa Day - Girly Girl

Another idea the girls added to their summer bucket was a girls ONLY spa day. Which meant the bathroom was in full out spa motif during one afternoon while little brother was napping! There was a lot of giggling, painting, and pampering going on. It was cute to watch them have so much fun with it.

We found some sparkling grape juice knocked down in the extra fridge that I think we forgot about way back on New Year's...remember because our PAR-TY was in such full swing. But after we found that my little idea girl ran to the pantry and pulled out these leftover plastic glasses from Tim's company Christmas Party we hosted. I had forgotten about them, but not B. Nope, the little chickadee who you think doesn't listen or pay attention can remember everything she sees (when she wants to or when it is going to be used for some creative idea or invention). She must have spotted them during one of the many times she puts together baggies of goodies for Tim and me tucked back in the corner. Nevertheless the fact that she knew to use these for the "bubbly" is YET again one more reason she makes me so nervous for the future...kinda like HERE

The cucumbers were by far the most memorable part of the day! Who knew such a vegetable could make a girl laugh so hard??

 

Brooklyn had HER own idea of what to do with the cucumbers.

 

They loved the "hot" facial masks...

 

Until they started laughing all over again...next time I am taking these girls with me to the spa (because I go so often right :) but they make it way more fun!

 

Food coloring with Aveeno soap mixed made face paints...ideas are everywhere on the www!
