Yes, that was the answer to a lot of questions yesterday as Kennedy finished her first day of 1st grade. My favorite was when the girls were setting the table and Kennedy was carrying a glass bowl of food over and little sis Brooklyn looked at her in awe and said, "you are carrying a heavy glass bowl KK!" With which Kennedy responded with the, "That's because I'm in first grade now!" The confidence is soaring in our house!
She had a lot to tell us when she got home and throughout the night. She said the best part of her day was when she got a reward for good behavior, who doesn't like that!
The morning started off with lots of our traditions and continued with Kennedy picking the dinner meal and of course the red plate, lots of red plate days in this house lately. I was thinking though when they all start school I am going to have save up some money for two more red plates :) but that is a blessing.

I cannot believe she is in first grade. All 3 of the kiddos have grown SO much, and I am not there to witness it. Miss you. Miss them. Tell KK congratulations on her awesome first day from her Aunt Shawna. XOXO
Congrats to Kennedy for being a first grader!! It looks like you guys had lots of fun. I love the banner and sign....I hope you don't mind I copied the sign idea. :) Great way to document first days. Brooklyn she looks super cute in her dance outfit!
