"Please keep your feet INSIDE the car" - just this morning as we were leaving the bank and Brooklyn requested her window to be left down I see this little pink croc jumping outside the window (and her leg was still attached) so yes I uttered these words.
"We don't hide golfish in our underwear when you want to play hide and seek with sister." -This actually was Nonie's discovery when we were in AZ. She took B to the bathroom and much to her surprise out came a pile of crushed up pretzel goldfish. She asked her what she was doing with the goldfish..."I was playing hide and seek with them so Kennedy wouldn't find them." So that's when I came in with the above warning. Although I was pretty lax about it since I honestly thought that was a pretty creative hidng spot, and the fact that only Brooklyn could get away with that. And to her defense Kennedy told me later that she started the game and was ONLY hiding the goldfish behind her back but Brooklyn must have thought she put them in her pants too. It's the little things that make a parent so proud!
