A Good Start

We had been counting down the days to fall when we turned the calendar page and it read September. Here in Houston, when you can't rely on the weather to tell you it's fall you can rely on one thing...football! And all other fall sports/activities that start then. The month started off with a great game with some friends: UT vs. Rice. We took all the kids and had them practicing their longhorn sign from the house to the stadium!

Next up another season of soccer for KK. This makes her 4th year playing. Tim took this year off from coaching but is enjoying watching her play from the sidelines. I have to admit it's nice to have my husband sitting next to me watching our girl play soccer and shine. It's not the goals that they score or whether they win or lose (for me that is :)) It's being able to watch my child do something she likes, she has practiced and has grown in for some time...that's where I see my contentment...in watching my kiddos!

Dance started again...so my poser, dancer, shaker, tumbler was ready and waiting. This time Brooklyn wasn't the new girl! She was a pro, had been doing it a year and walked in making sure everyone knew that! Every day I get the question, is tomorrow a dance day..yes my dear, it is finally here tomorrow is a dance day!
