Guess Who Was Here?

Yep you guessed it, the Starbucks is always a dead giveaway! Nonie came into town for a quick trip to HELP with Brooklyn's birthday party and to be here to share in the day. It was less than three days we figured but nonetheless a fabulous trip with a lot of party, a lot of hanging out and just enjoying the beautiful weekend with a beautiful Nonie.

The best part was that it was a surprise! My friend Shawna picked her up at the airport and dropped her off because Kennedy had a soccer game at the same time and Tim was playing in a golf tournament. The surprise was the best and worth every minute I counted down waiting for her text to tell me that she had landed!

She walked up to Brooklyn and said, excuse me can I share your snack.

Brooklyn's face was utter surprise and confusion :) it was sweet!

Then she realized she was really here and jumped right in her arms.

This picture makes me tear up seriously. It is the perfect picture and the facial expression on Kennedy is priceless because this totally describes her relationship with her Nonie. The girl seriously isn't the same for a few days after she leaves!

And here are some cute pics of my soccer girl! I love being her cheerleader and watching her play...

K hadn't seen Nonie come up since it was mid game. So Nonie waiting until Kennedy was in a play, yelled "Go Kennedy." Kennedy looked up BUT only for a split second and in her true sports competitive style went right back to playing, but this time she started playing with this little crooked dimpled smile that showed us she was breathing happiness because she knew her Nonie was here and watching her shine! Amazingly enough this was the first time my mom was able to see Kennedy play soccer.

We didn't let poor Nonie breathe much! Right after the game it was dash home to start getting ready and doing the last minute stuff for a Fabulous Fairy Party for the birthday girl. We had the best time staying up late, doing the littlest details that no one but my mom would have appreciated and understood why I do what I do. It's for the love of the party but mostly for the love of my kids and celebrating too! Thanks Mom for once again being my sidekick at another birthday party.
