We're BACK!

Whoo Hoo...we are back and everywhere I look I see FALL! It is absolutely fabulous and we are in heaven here with this incredible weather. We literally wake up and drink it in from morning to night. We have been outside more than inside every waking minute. The kids get up and if it's a school morning rush to get their clothes on and are outside in a flash riding their bikes, scooters and anything else they can peddle to take in this weather. If it isn't a school morning for B then you will most likely find the younger two padding around in their pajamas riding a bike or scooter and I just smile! It isn't forever that you can get away with riding a bike in the bright early morning sun in your pj's and others can see what the true meaning of simplicity is! One of my favorite verses is "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Love that one but I am also a firm believer that after surviving a summer in Houston, I can do all things when the weather is cooler too!

So where have we been...well I could say that life has been really busy but honestly whose life isn't busy these days...people are just busy being busy. It's life as most people know it now, so I won't say we were just busy. I will say that for the Studdert fam the month of September was filled with living life...living life so fully that we didn't have a chance to stop and write about it. But no fear there were plenty of pictures taken, that's never the issue :). I do have to say though half of those pictures were either gotten with frustration or luck. After having taken a photography class at the beginning of September I have yet to determine if it is more frustrating having a camera that I am unworthy of and have no clue what to do with other than it staying permanently on that little green square OR having a camera where I semi learned what everything means and I try and try to take pictures manually and still have no clue what I am doing...the verdict is still out as well as lots and lots of practice!

So as September seemed to fly right by us we have been burning the pumpkin candles for awhile now...made our first batch of pumpkin bread of the season and the house is decked out in all things orange, black and fallish. So much to catch up on but for now I will leave you with a picture from this morning of my kids in their jackets! Yes, low 50's will force the jackets out BUT only for the morning crispness...they come right off to let our arms feel this cool weather that we have been searching for! Bring on fall and all the wonderful things and memories that come with it; we have been waiting!

The kids look so cute in their jackets! Very Fall!! We are loving fall here too. Not quite jacket weather yet, but it has finally cooled down to the 80's the last few days and we are loving it! I am only afraid it won't last. Enjoy your wonderful weather! :)
