Pond Time

A few mondays ago we found ourself with an incredible Monday morning...clear blue skies, dry, and beautiful bike riding weather. Mondays we take KK to school and then figure out what we want to do. This day we couldn't possibly pass up being outside. So we grabbed our bikes and headed to the duck pond, where low and behold there were ducks. This same place had no ducks on our past outings, but these ducks were tricky...they would be at one end so we would jog, skip, twirl our way around to them with bread in hand and we would start to get close and they would start swimming the other way. Ironic, first time-yes, 2nd and 3rd time NO just silly ducks. You don't want our bread, fine we will find someone else...and we did, we found not one or two, BUT three turtles that held our attention for a long while. That and some white powdered donuts made us forget about those silly ducks.

It was a beautiful morning with my two little ones...

Brooklyn had Mousie Bear this weekend! Mousie Bear is a BIG DEAL and gets to travel home with a different pre-k student each weekend. When Kennedy had Mousie Bear, Brooklyn was a baby but she has been chomping at the bit to have her turn. We definitely par-tayed with Mousie Bear. Hopefully a full post on his stay with our family.

Promise, didn't even ask for this! She turns into this X-TRA protective big sis when she is alone with him. She worries way more than if K had been with us. Love it!

Yum-Yum powdered donuts!

Even Mousie got in on the action...and yes this is how most of the weekend was photographed with Mousie up to something.

All that yellow stuff - POLLEN, yes thanks to that beauty we have non stop allergies and sinus infections but this time of year you can't stay inside!
