She LOVES it! The smile on her face, concentration as she moves down the field and it's almost as if her little feet do a soccer dance before she kicks. You almost have to see it but it's cute. She may be a dancer at heart but she will find a way to dance even playing soccer. Her face as she scored her first goal was priceless...she looked, stood still almost not realizing it was her first goal, turned to look at us as we are screaming and cheering and then she threw up her arms in celebration. She does have a little competitive streak in her...I see it when she uses her hands to hold someone else back and I saw it in the words that came out of her mouth right before they started playing the first team..."oh they are so little, we will beat them no problem!" This coming from the 5 year old who hasn't ever played soccer. She has been around it her whole life though watching her sister so in that sense she was ready and waiting.
Brooklyn and her sweet best friend Raya
Getting used to these socks and shin guards is a whole new world!
Sweet little team...5 year olds are so fun to watch!!!
What a fun season this will be! Our two princesses both playing soccer, one playing, the other cheering only to switch roles the next hour. I cannot wait to watch you shine Brooklyn and bring the JOY to the soccer field that you bring to every new day. I love you sunshine!
