Tim kept saying he was going to come out to cheer me on, but I kept telling him no stay home with the kids...they have soccer games later just stay home and hang out. But he brought them all the way out there and I was so glad to see them. Nothing beats a hug after a run. Thanks honey, you are the best!

Woodlands Half Marathon
Shauna and I were feeling brave this year after we finished our half marathon in December. So what did we do, we forgot the soreness and went and signed up for another one in March. We had 3 months and we wanted to keep the momentum. That momentum was a little harder to keep after Christmas and we were feeling very unsure, feeling every ache and pain and thought (just for a minute) of not doing it. But we went for it and went into it thinking it will just be a fun morning, we will get to hang out and we can walk some too. Race morning came and not sure what happened but we ran and ran faster than we ever had before. We ran our P.B. (personal best) It was an awesome course, perfect running weather and we chose a different person to pray for each mile. Talk about an amazing way to run through the miles. I am blessed to be able to run and for a friend to celebrate these special days with!
