6 Weeks Old & Growing

So Carter is 6 weeks old today...a lot is going on (not sleep :)) but some other fun stuff. He started "talking" a little when we are holding him. He completely follows voices which is so cute and he has discovered his fists/fingers and is pretty good at getting them to his mouth. He has been on the verge of some smiles so hopefully in the next week. We did have an Ultrasound on him yesterday for a "dimple" that the pediatrician discovered in the hospital. The dimple is on the outside and right above his bum. It is an small area that dips down and didn't fully close while he was in the womb. The dimple can be an indication that things didn't properly form internally so that is why they called for the US. PRAISE though we heard very quickly from our pediatrician after he looked over results that everything is fine, no problems...a big blessing.

Carter finally has a belly on him. His clothes are fitting him better and he is staying awake for longer and loves looking around. Fans are still a definite favorite as are his TWO sisters. He is definitely a boy because he LOVES to be outside. Too bad we live in Houston and it's summer, but we are out there as much as possible.
