So last week Tim started working with Kennedy on learning to tie her shoes. We had been meaning to do it throughout her whole Kindergarten year and just never got to it. She picked it up super quick and although some frustration the first day by day #2 she had it all by herself. She was so proud. She got to eat on the Red plate which is a definite sign of accomplishment in our house. She now goes around and ties everything she can find, including my shoes which comes in handy when I get them on and then am holding Carter...Kennedy came along and said oh mommy, let me tie your shoes for you! And I have to tell you that was the best walk this mommy has taken with shoes tied by her 6 year old!
