We had been waiting since May to go blueberry picking this year. We went for the first time in 2008 and vowed that it would become a yearly family tradition. So this year when May rolled around it was super HOT and we had no rain. The farm kept holding off on opening and when they finally did it was slim pickings. We kept holding out for rain and better blueberries but it just didn't happen so the last weekend they were open we headed out there knowing we wouldn't get much but more just for some family fun. Carter was konked out the whole time and the girls had fun trying to find the blueberries, we barely got anything but it was expected and here's hoping to lots of rain next year for the blueberries.
