Fall = Soccer

Soccer season began this morning with the first game. This is Kennedy's 4th season and she told me this morning she has been waiting TWO weeks for this day...she was a little excited. This season is different for a lot of reasons, the first being that they play all girls now that they are older. Another change is that Tim is the coach. I love watching Kennedy play and I know that when soccer starts cooler weather and thus true fall (we can't go by the normal fall calendar here in hot texas) is around the corner. Kennedy did awesome today, she can hustle like nobody's business...FAST! She saved so many goals from the other team and scored two of her own!

I remember her playing her first year; a little four year old not having a clue what to do, she was so cute and to watch her now is awesome especially to see her growth and skill develop! I also had fun watching Tim coach...as much as I could watch with Carter and keeping an eye on Brooklyn making sure she doesn't try to jump in the game since she wants to play and be a part of the team so bad! She is sure a cute little mascot though! She is very proud of her big sis though!

Despite the craziness that seems to consume most days where it feels there is no time and someone is always rushing, it was in that moment sitting there at the soccer game where my heart became so full and I felt immense thankfullness to God for creating our now family of five! How blessed to be able to sit there with my almost 5 mos. old son on my lap, my cutie pie three year old all decked out wanting to play and my sunshine soccer player kicking butt and my awesome husband who is taking this special time to make a difference in his daughter's life forever coaching her team...it doesn't get much better than that!
