Happy 3rd Birthday Brooklyn!

My princess little (Kennedy is princess big) turned the big old 3 today! Three just seems so much older than two, at least today it does! She definitely got into the whole birthday idea this year from running around the house screaming it's my birthday, announcing it LOUDLY at dinner last night more than a few times for everyone to hear and wearing her princess crown too. And everything she is writing or organizing is for her birthday party this weekend. We had a great time celebrating and she had a BIG birthday surprise.

It is hard to believe that Brooklyn is THREE! She is such a breath of fresh air and has the ability to make us laugh like no other. She has enough energy for our whole family and knows exactly what she wants when she wants it. I call Brooklyn the bag lady because lately she is OBSESSED with bags and putting anything and everything in any kind of bag she can find, gift bag, grocery bag, toy bag, laundry bag. If ever I can't find anything I know Brooklyn has probably snatched it up and put it or wrapped it in a bag. Brooklyn is very social and just the other day ran out of dance class and had made a playdate with a new friend from dance and was telling me she was going over to her house. She also informed me that the reason she was going to her house is because that particular little girl didn't have a dog! She is a little fearful of dogs. And thunderstorms too...She loves to ask questions, doesn't sit still long enough to read a ton, LOVES to sing and play anything of her big sisters. She got her new regicashter (cash register) for her birthday because she loves playing store and the drawer was broken on the old one. She has just started to WANT to do lots of things on her own, like get dressed, wear her hair a certain way and has an opinion on what she should and shouldn't wear. And most times if Brooklyn does something wrong, she is the first to say, "but it's ok mommy!"

Brooklyn we love you and are so glad you bring the love and laughter to our family that you do. We couldn't imagine our family without the light that you shine bright, there would be a big hole if you weren't RIGHT in the middle of it all and for that we are so grateful! Thanks for teaching me to love life more and that everything "is ok mommy." I love that about you! Happy 3rd Birthday princess little or now I should say princess big too since you are THREE!
