Everyone knows that crazy Christmas school calendar that somehow doubles up the month of December...than doubles with two kids in full time school and at two different places. It's a lot of time at school celebrations which can't be beat this time of year, picking and choosing which fun activities to do around town and spending just the right amount of time at home around the Christmas tree or by the fire. The last week of school is non stop but priceless because of the smiles and excitement on the kids faces. I love it, craziness and all...my house doesn't necessarily love it and my little sidekick just goes with the flow, but he does give me that look every once in awhile like..."are you serious I have to get in that carseat one more time, I thought we just got home!"
First up...our church has a night where they re-enact Bethlehem Days and have the kids interact in Bethlehem Market where they do activities that reflect the Bible Days, eat the foods, dress in the garb and then they have the Nativity animals outside and the Nativity scene inside with worship put on by the youth. It's a night the kids looked forward to this year.

| Brooklyn braving the camel - wondering if he was going to spit :-) |
 |
| Brooklyn's sweet class went to an assisted living facility to sing Christmas carols to the residents. They were so cute as were the old people...it made me miss my Nana Peeps! |
Next up was Brooklyn's school Christmas Program...this will be the 5th time we have attended this program between the girls and this year was extra sweet because the Kinders have a special part where they highlight the musical instruments they have been working with.

| Beautiful 4th grade cheerleader clapping loud for her sis |
 |
| This is how Carter begged/insisted on capturing Brooklyn's show...videoing whatever he could...he must have been watching all the parents and taking notes |

| We had a sleepover with the Lambert kids so their mama could host a neighborhood dinner party and had a blast. The kids decorated their own graham cracker gingerbread house and all got along super! No night would be complete without painting nails for the girls, a band/parade show and movie and popcorn. |
The same week Brooklyn's class put on their own Gingerbread Play and seriously my mouth hurt from smiling so hard. It was the cutest and sweetest play and you could tell they had practiced their little hearts out. Brooklyn was the Old Woman and found herself some little glasses and was counting down the day until the show.

| Missing one but always fun to catch a family picture |
Last day of school held parties, sing-alongs and no better way to celebrate than with Pajama day...Brooklyn had hers earlier in the month but K had hers on the last day and Carter insisted on joining in on both girls days so he spent his fair share of the month in his Christmas jams. They looked so comfy wished I could have joined.

| K's class party with her friend Leah |
 |
| Fun marshmallow race the kids played |
 |
| K is such an awesome big sister and good sport about Carter being right by her side and pulling up the closest chair he could find...the minute she walks in the door he races to give her a big hug and she squeezes right back. I think the only time he embarrasses her is when we drop her off each morning and he rolls down his window and at the top of his lungs screams "Bye Kennedy!!!" until he literally can't see her anymore. The aids burst out laughing each morning... |
 |
| The class all let Carter play and cheered him on BIG |
 |
| Picking up my girl from her last day...only party moms do the party at B's school and as much as that stinks it worked out since I am a homeroom mom for K and her party was at the same time...Love her teachers! |
Wahoo...Christmas Break - TWO whole weeks off of school!
 |
| If the sun is out and the rain is away this is literally the first thing these girls do when they get home each day. There was something so awesome about knowing that for the next two weeks they could literally swing whenever they wanted to. The make up routines and show me each afternoon with flips and all. |
 |
| This little guy isn't far behind at all...he will be in heaven having his two sisters around to play with the next two weeks. |
